Having an extra hour in bed just because you feel like it may be your prerogative, but it is not a disciplined way to work. Neither is knocking off early so that you can watch a favorite program on TV. Self discipline involves pushing yourself in a way that is most advantageous to the job and not to you. It isn’t always fun, but it usually is always necessary.

Those who choose legitimate work from home jobs rather than having to turn up at the office every day take on an extra level of responsibility. They become responsible for actually doing the work they are paid for in a timely manner, responsible for maintaining a suitable work space, and responsible for maintaining good communications with their superiors.

Legitimate work from home jobs would seem to have a lot going for them, and they do for many people. However it is not something that will suit everyone. If you actually enjoy spending break times with your work colleagues, or even after work, if you like having a supervisor close at hand to call on if a problem arises, if you just plain like being at work, then legitimate work from home jobs are probably not for you.
